List 2 fun facts about yourself:

1. I once was a correctional officer for the Chatham County Sherriff’s Department. People are always surprised by this fact.

2. I won the vocal competition Effingham Idol and later auditioned for American Idol and The Voice.

Person you would love to have a conversation with if you could speak with anyone living or past?

I would like to have a conversation with my late grandmother, Beverly Roberts. She was taken away from our family too soon and she was so young. I would like to tell her about my growing family, have her meet my bright eyed baby girl and just talk about life with her. I miss her all the time. She was such a fun person and she really knew how to enjoy life. I can’t think of a memory I have of her, where she wasn’t smiling.
What is your favorite thing about working for Altrus?

Working with and helping people. There is no better end to a day, than the ones when we are able to help at least one person find a Personal Care Home. Knowing that someone is safe in one of our family model homes brings a comfort over me and helps me to appreciate the hard work of each person that makes up Altrus.
